Gabriel "Bumpy" J Grilli

Gabriel “Bumpy” Grilli  Passed away Peacefully at his home on March 26, 2020.

For 58 years he was a skating instructor at the American Legion Hall.  He was a former member of Greenport Standard Hose, Cub and Boy scout leader, Former member of the Greenport Youth Activities.  At age 35 he went to school to become a nurse and finished top of his class.  He also was a member of Burton Potter Post 185 American Legion.   From 2004 to 2012 he was also Dock Master at Mitchell Park Marina.  He truly loved his town and his community.  He helped raise 7 children Ruth, Robby, Mark, Beth, Nancy,  Kathy and Lisa Charland 

His wife Margaret  passed in 2012. He also had a strong bond with his nephew Bryan . He is  survived by wife Anita , son Jack , daughter Lynne of New Hampshire (Steve), daughter Maria,  granddaughter Justine, granddaughter Sierra, grandson Davey of N.H,  great granddaughter Charlotte, he is also survived by his 4 stepchildren .

Funeral and Internment will be held at a  later date
